WORLD ADVENTURER’S DAY- 17TH MAY,  2025

On Sabbath 17th May was World Adventurer’s Day, Kasama Central held it for its adventurers. Most of the programs were administered by the adventurers, the music, the sabbath school was taken up by them including the prayer on the main service.

The adventurers graced us with presentations in the Bible study. These presentations included poems, memory verses, songs, plays and topic presentations. The day was very interesting, we learned new things and they opened our eyes to things that we used to neglect.

Kasama Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church would like to invite you to services like these, the church is located in Kasama town, opposite ZESCO offices. We will be having a Guest Day on Sabbath 07th June 2025, please make a date with us in The Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

10 Days of prayer

Ten Days of Prayer initiative (formerly called Operation Global Rain) was adopted by the world church in 2010. Churches in over a hundred countries have received rich blessings through Ten Days of Prayer which occurs every January. God is faithful! The Ten Days experience can’t be quantified. Hearts are surrendered, souls convicted, and requests for prayer have been answered. We invite you to be part of this special initiative.

Holy Communion

Jesus Christ, after He had broken bread and given wine to His disciples, in 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 said, "do this in remembrance of me." This He said in reference to the holy communion.

The holy communion, sometimes referred to as the Lord's supper, is one of the important ordinances in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Done once every quarter, it is a practice that celebrates and turns the hearts of church members to look at the death of Jesus at calvary for the remission of the sins of the world.

Bread, representing the body of Jesus and wine, representing His blood, is shared among the church members during this important ordinance.

Furthermore, this important ordinance not only reminds members about the death of Jesus but also encourages member to reconcile with anyone they may have a grievance with.

How beautiful it is when brethren fellowship together in one accord, worshipping their redeemer, even through the Holy communion.
